Eastring Contribution to the Single European Gas Market
We want to contribute to Europe´s energy security by adding the missing part of natural gas transmission system in the European Union and closing the ring of natural gas pipelines in Central and South-eastern Europe.
Eastring offers an additional access route between Europe and Balkan and effectively helps to mitigate the situation in which the single source of gas import is interrupted.
Moreover, Eastring also provides a transit option for alternative gas sources, increases cross border interconnectivity and liquidity. It offers a corridor ready for future gas imports to Europe from prospective natural gas fields of the Black Sea, the Caspian region, the Middle East and Russian gas from the prospective Turkish/Bulgarian gas hub.
Eastring is the most economic and time efficient project to construct in the region concerned fully compliant with EU laws and philosophy.
